Hi — I'm the person behind this site. I'm just a football fan, and Kylian Mbappé has been my favourite player for years. At the same time, it's been impossible to ignore Erling Haaland putting up some of the most ridiculous goalscoring numbers European football has seen in a long time. Watching the two of them operate in completely different ways — one built on flair, dribbling and big-game moments, the other on pure clinical efficiency — got me hooked on the rivalry between them, even though they've rarely faced each other directly. That's the itch this site scratches: a place to actually see the numbers side by side instead of arguing from memory.
The site pulls together club career history, international stats, Champions League records, head-to-head meetings, honours, and season-by-season breakdowns for both players, all in one place, with the goal of being the most complete free comparison available — not just a couple of cherry-picked stats.
Most of the numbers come from FBref and Transfermarkt. Where a stat is directly sourced from those (season tables, goal logs, trophy lists), it's real. In a handful of places where reliable data wasn't available — some historical splits, certain classification stats — the site says so explicitly rather than quietly guessing. This is an independent, fan-run project. It has no affiliation with Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, their clubs, FIFA, UEFA, or any national federation — it's just a stats hobby project, not an official source.
